Building your career is not something that starts after graduation. Sprott’s Business Career Management Centre (BCMC) is here to help you get started as soon as you arrive on campus. To do that, the BCMC offers a variety of services to all Sprott students, including one-on-one career advising, career assessment using CareerLeader, resume/cover letter assistance, career development and employer events, and access to exclusive job postings through the mySprott Career Portal.
BCMC also throws a ton of industry and networking events all year open to all students, giving you the chance to meet prospective employers and become known to them years before you have to worry about finding a job.
It’s not all serious though. BCMC is known for hosting fun events such as the triple etiquette series that includes sessions on business fashion, networking skills and dining etiquette. The social media lock down session is a must-attend to find out how recruiters can learn all about you online, before they decide whether to give you an interview.
