BIB Student Michael Cacho awarded KPMG marketing scholarship
Bachelor of International Business student Michael Cacho has been awarded the 2013 KPMG Developing Potential Marketing Scholarship, valued at $5,000.
Michael is in his second year of the BIB program in the French-language stream and plans to study abroad next year in France. The Oakville, Ont. native is the VP of marketing for the Carleton Entrepreneurship Association and regularly blogs about brands on his website.
“I first heard about the scholarship when I was reading Sprott off the Press in the summer,” he said. “I’ve put in a lot of work so far in university and I’m glad it could pay off.”
After graduation, Michael said he hopes to pursue a career in brand management.
Applicants were evaluated based on academic excellence, leadership skills and a demonstrated commitment to a career in professional services marketing.
