Hi everyone, I’m sorry that I haven’t posted in a while. I had a bad case of bronchitis, followed by midterms! It was kind of sad to see on Facebook people complaining about starting school back at home while I was doing midterms. After they were done, I took some time to experience some things that Guadalajara has to offer. I took a trip to the San Juan de Dios Market, one of the largest indoor markets the world. It consists of three floors where you can buy anything you can think of, all at really low prices.
I really enjoyed walking around and next time when I come back I’ll bring more money with me! Here are some more pictures from walking downtown:

Also this past weekend a Mexican friend took my a few of my roommates and I to “Barranca de Huentitan”- a canyon just outside the city. We got some amazing views.
It was so much fun to go but quite a workout on the way back up. Now I am looking forward to celebrating Mexican Independence Day this weekend!
