Sprott’s Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) program delivers a complete business education with the flexibility to tailor your program to your career goals and interests.
An effective business leader requires an understanding of all aspects of an organization. During the first two years of our program, you will explore all major business areas.
In years three and four, you have the opportunity to specialize in up to two concentrations or continue without a concentration. (You don’t need to select a concentration until the end of second year.) At Sprott, we emphasize real-world learning and courses include case studies, hands-on projects and guest speakers from industry.

Sprott students achieve top place finishes in national and international inter-university case competitions, where students are challenged to find solutions to real-life business scenarios in a limited time and against top business students from around the world. Through Sprott Competes, students receive advanced case training and coaching by dedicated faculty members and industry partners. Our students develop highly valued skills such as integrative thinking, presentation, analysis, team work and the ability to work under pressure.
The Fund @ Sprott
A select group of top finance students actively manage the Sprott Student Investment Fund, an equity portfolio investing real capital in the North American equity markets. Students learn investment strategies in a team environment and gain real money-management experience. Alumni have gone onto careers in investment banking and financial services at such organizations as Morgan Stanley, TD Waterhouse, RBC Capital Markets, Brookfield Asset Management, M Partners, Bank of Canada and Export Development Canada.
