BUSI 3117: From Buckets to Rainbarrels: Developing Creative Thinking

This is a course in which interdisciplinary teams composed of civil engineering, systems engineering, industrial design and business students work together on proposals to address various water, agricultural, business, waste, and other issues in a district in northern Tanzania.

The course will involve a two-week trip to the Longido Region of Tanzania during the last week of December and first week of January. There will be some cost involved. Students should plan on up to $2500 related to travel costs, but the actual amount will depend on the success of fundraising activities.

Registration for this course is for both Fall and Winter terms, students will earn 0.5 credits for BUSI 4905 Directed Studies in Fall term, and 0.5 credits for BUSI 3117 B for Fall and Winter term)
