Biography

Professor Doha’s research spans two streams. The first stream explores the social structure and dynamics of supply chains’ operational capabilities, with the aim of building the next generation business ecosystem. The second stream explores the nature of firms’ R&D activities in terms of imitation and innovation-based product, process, and service development. His PhD dissertation studied the dynamics between imitation and innovation within the firm in the computer, semiconductor, and pharmaceutical industries in the United States. Professor Doha is a recipient of the Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council in Canada. His research is currently in the process of commercialization. He teaches the Introduction to Operations Management and the Technology and Innovation Management courses at the undergraduate level.
