    Area of Research: Accounting

My research covers textual analysis of data from a wide range of sources including corporate narrative disclosure, internet forums, and social media. More specifically, I study impression management in earnings press releases and investor reaction to impression management. My focus is on small publicly traded firms with low visibility and information asymmetry for those firms. From a technical perspective, my research benefits from my expertise in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning.
