He received his BEng and MSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Ecole Nationale d&#8217;Ing\u00e9nieurs de Metz, Metz, France, and earned his PhD degree in Mechatronics and Robotics from the Sorbonne Universit\u00e9 (UPMC), Paris, France, under the auspices of the Commissariat \u00e0 l&#8217;Energie Atomique.
